# Title: 2025-09-10 Shiva Idealism ## Summary According to [[1020 Abhinavagupta]], there are layers of formations of consciousness from the most sacred to the more profane, yet an non-dual vision transcend and includes all the layers both the immanent and the transcendent. These are: [[Cit]] [[Śūnyatā]] [[Prāṇa]] [[Citta]] (Energy Body) [[Deha]] (Body) [[Vistū]] ## Main Content The interesting question here is if one is to read an post-Abhinavagupta reading of Hegel but not post-Kant, or if one is going to read Hegel as post-both yet presenting an argument for an western audience. Now, our intention is to gather knowledge that is global, or rather paradigmatic in scope. The question to ask ourselves is also, whether Abhinavagupta is a boy-pharaoh or an pillar-saint, the answer as it turns out is no. It's clear that he thought dialectically, or creatively and where both immanent and transcendent. Reminder that according to our teacher Abhinavagupta, there are diffrent formations of consciousness from the most immanent to the most transcedent, and yet finally consciousness which sees the most transcendent in the most immanent. For him (or her), there are thus levels in the sense of for more wholeness and consequently self-recognition in all that exists. He (or She) also suggests that there is a triad between scripture of the tradition, teacher and student. Non-dual and Tantrik Idealism is clear that all other views are inferier to it, at the level of citta, not the sentient beings, or what is alive to them in the present moment.  In fact, Abhinavagupta, care to integrate the ground of essence-nature of all sentient beings and their traditions. And as such we have the germans, Kant, Fichte, Schelling and Hegel. Which the intutition tells me is relevant when speaking germanic languages such as english and swedish. Out of these thinkers, Schelling is the most releavant according to contemporaries such as Iain McGillchrist. But in my view, they all as a team did produce excellent philosophy. But one thing they where mistaken about is that these kind of investigation that Idealists does, is not an science, it is an artform. Unclear what other's at Oxford thinks, yet there seams to be a difference between SWJ and Alexis Sanderson, and I have come to believe that that difference is between Nomadic and Settlement culture. ## Connections ### Related Notes - [[Note on a related topic]] - [[Another note on a similar idea]] ### Parent Notes - [[2025-09-09 The Project Idea Grounding Art]] - [[Main Topic]] ### Child Notes - [[Specific detail on this topic]] - [[Supporting example for this idea]]
